Noh• Kyogen• Kyogeki

Noh, Kyogen and Kyogeki are traditional and unique performing arts. This year, HKU SPACE invited Kazufusa Hosho (寶生和英), the 20th Grand Master of the School of Hosho, and two renowned Japanese Kyogen performers from the Yamamoto family(山本家) to present the play “Earth Spider + The Ink Smear” (土蜘蛛+墨塗).

As a highlight of the show, “Seiryo Mountain” (清涼山), a Noh x Kyogeki performance, will be performed by Master Hosho and Japanese Peking Opera actor Yuta Ishiyama (石山雄太).

This event is sponsored by C. C. Wu Cultural & Education Foundation Fund.
